This shirt was worn in the notorious 1987 in which Flamengo and Sport Recife were both declared champions of leagues running concurrently and due to a league dispute never played off to determine the overall 1987 Brazilian champions. The championship was finally awarded to Sport 30 years later in 2017 by Brazil’s Supreme Court.
